Marissa is originally from Hershey, Pennsylvania—where the scent of chocolate truly fills the air—she relocated to Florida after conducting sea turtle nesting research in Antigua. Her background lies in the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of both marine and terrestrial wildlife, and she has a deep appreciation for animals of all shapes and sizes, including her beloved rescue dog. With a strong passion for animal care, her goal is to become a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to further support animals and pets in need, ensuring their health and comfort. In her free time, she enjoys a variety of hobbies, including playing pickleball, hiking with her dog, crafting, and listening to music.
